are promoted by Blue Ears e-Radio
awarded in 2008:

12BBB - The Blues Has Got Me - Tramp
/ 12BBB - E mail From Heaven - Tramp

The debut album of the Dutch Twelve
Bar Blues Band is " The Blues Has Got Me ". For those who like a mixture
of Chicago and British electric blues. Blues veterans J.J. Sharp ( vocals & harp) and
Kees Dusink ( solo and slide guitars ) are part of this project. Some excellent original
blues ballads on the first album. The promotion tour for the first CD was so succesful
that another release was just a matter of time.
Their second CD is filled with newly
written songs and additionally some studio versions of songs which proved to be popular at
12BBB live performances.
Both CD's belong together like twins
for giving an accurate overview of the sets they are playing on stage. The band is only
performing in Western Europe up until now. If you're living in that area, our advice would
be : go see them live !

some other fine releases by other
bands:
THE RETURN OF..... ....NEW
ALBUM OUT !!!
Released on TRAMP Records 9936.
Holland - The Netherlands
San Pedro Slim - Another Night On
The Town

San Pedro Slim toured in Europe with
Marc Thijs ( one of James Harman's favourite guitar players) mainly presenting his own
material - with strong vocals and dominant harmonica playing. On this album an other
experienced line-up. Some world class tracks to discover on this showcase of ' Chicago
style touching Jump blues' harmonica sound. The more interesting considering the
fact that the recorded output of this real talent is still limited.
Bill Stuve - Say Man !

Excellent West Coast standing bass
player Bill Stuve recorded with e.g Junior Watson before joining Rod Piazza's Mighty
Flyers in the past. Now that he's left the group in 2006 his solo projects are in the
picture once again. His latest 2005 album recently was included in the Blue Ears 25 for
its excellent compositions and playing in late 40's - 50's style. You can follow the track
back and compare with this earlier solo album.
Blues 'N' Trouble - Down To The
Shuffle

Tim Elliot & John Bruce are
members of this band which did thousands of gigs and were guesting important blues greats
before this release. A dynamic, stomping, gut-wrenching blues sound through the influence
of vocalist/ harp playing personality Tim Elliot and a powerhouse rhythm section. It was
awarded " Best blues release of the year in the United Kingdom "
Snatch It Back - Hot Stuff

This band is from Wales and it's
their fourth album. As recently explained in an interview for Blue Ears it's their most
rockiest one, however their typical tight and straightforward blues sound is present as
ever. Leader and founder is singer and harmonica player Chris Rees. Dave Edmunds recorded
several of his compositions. Snatch It Back lost some momentum caused by changes of band
members in the 90's . Fact is that they were very well received in Europe and considered
one of the most promising acts. It's never too late for their albums.
The Solid Senders - Dig My Wheels

An Austin TX blues sound on this
album. Spencer Thomas on vocals in a deliberate simple and raw production based on a
guitar, bass and drums foundation. A must for every blues lover as the former bass player
of the Fabulous Thunderbirds , the late Keith Ferguson plays an important role on
these recordings.
